About the item
Impressive design from Giotto Stoppino dating from 1977, a postmodern interpretation on the Italian classic credenza design.
The Sheraton is characterized by its oversized top, sticking out clearly from the body and providing lots of stance. The doors have a modern interpretation with a part sliding and part hinging mechanism. A chromed frame provides for a visual ornament when the doors are open. The interior consists of sliding drawers in the middle and glass boards on each outer end.
While most of the Sheratons produced feature a lacquered appearance, this specific Sheraton features an untreated wengé look. In our opinion, this more classical look actually fits the design of the Sheraton actually much better.
Obviously the original markings are still present on the sideboard.
About the condition
The sideboard is in very good condition and has been extremely well preserved. The top has some minimal visual wear.
