Description
La Rotonda Ash and marble dining table by Mario Bellini for Cassina 1980s
COMING IN SOON
About the item
The La Rotonda table designed by Mario Bellini in 1976 has a simple sculpted base, a diagonal intersection of three legs with a square cross-section, which supports a 165 cm round table top, bound together by strong joints carved directly from the solid ash wood.
The sculptural base made of intersecting beams, inspired by Max Bill works is an example of great craftsmanship. The three legs have been created using four pieces of solid wood and are connected together with a surprising twist.
The La Rotonda table will be featured with a round 150 cm marble top. The original glass top of 165 cm is still present as well. You can choose your own desired marble top from a selection of colours.
About the item
The foot is in very good and original condition. The marble will be sourced in slightly used condition. The glass plate has one chip.
