About the item

This sideboard is a beauty and very typical of the mid modern Belgian design wave, typical with the ceramic tiles decoration, square feet with dark contrast below and the carved in handles.

It came from a large home in Belgium (Flanders) and the owner was a collector of Belgian design pieces.

The previous owner mentioned this sideboard was from Omer Lefèvre Meubelfabriek (O.M.F.), a Belgian furniture maker located closely to the previous owner (Izegem). Indeed, the carved in handles, top board, drawer design and sliding door cabinets resemble the O.M.F. style closely. The sideboard doesn’t have any other markings but the O.M.F. are often without markings.

About its condition

In very good condition. Teak has only limited wear, just a bit around the feet. Complete with all parts present.
